Health and Spirituality
March 13-14, 2020

Welcome! The annual meeting of Div. 36 (the Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality) provides a supportive academic forum where professionals discuss the latest research findings and advances in the psychology of religion and spirituality. Within Div. 36, this conference has traditionally been referred to as the mid-year conference.The theme of this year's conference is health and spirituality.               *Registration table will be located in NC Atrium D, which faces                            Speer Blvd

Travel

Travel Information

Hotel

  • Unfortunately due to requirements from hotels in Denver to guarantee a large number of reservations to reserve blocks, we are unable to have an official conference hotel. We do recommend you reserve hotel rooms in Denver as soon as possible! Below are a few options close to the University of Colorado Denver:

Air Travel

  • Once you land in the Denver International Airport, there is an airport tram that takes you back to main terminal

  • Once you reach the last stop on the tram, you will take the escalators up into the main terminal. You will remain on the same floor and will want to find the signs pointing you in the direction of the Transit Center.

  • Once you reach the exit, you will take a long escalator down, where you will find the train depot and ticket machines (one way fee is ~ $10.50). Trains run every 15 minutes and will take you into the city.

  • You also have the option of purchasing tickets online through a mobile app found at the link below:

  • The airport line (map pictured below) is a direct line to downtown. You will remain on the line until the last stop at Union Station.

  • Once at Union Station, you have 3 options to navigate to campus: 1) Walk the entire way; 2) Take the Free 16th Street Mall ride to Larimer St and then walk roughly 3 blocks from there; and 3) Take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi

  • Address for The North Classroom Building is 1200 Larimer Street (where the conference will be located).

Parking

We recommend using public transit instead of renting a car, but if it is necessary for your travel plans listed below is campus parking information:

Tivoli Garage: $6.75/day or $4.00 for 2hrs

  • 9th Street and Auraria Parkway Open 24/7

  • pay by machine or cell, license plate # needed

7th St. Garage: $6.75/day

  • Lawrence Way and 7th Street

  • Attended garage, pay on exit

  • Friday 6:30AM – 6:00PM

  • Closed Saturday

5th St. Garage: $5.00/day

  • 5th Street and Walnut Street Open 24/7

RTD Light Rail System

  • Most lines stop at Auraria Campus every 15-20 minutes (Not Line H, R, or W).

  • We are the Colfax at Auraria stop, Auraria West stop, or the Pepsi Center at Elitch Gardens stop.

  • You could also ride in to Union Station, and then walk to campus along 16th street to Larimer, or take the mall ride on 16th street to Larimer.
